In WWE 12 players now has the ability to attack the opponents while in downed state players can either distract their moves or can perform royal rumble eliminations. The kicking system has been improved and reworked compared to previous sequels, players now will take damage according to their standing position if players are not in the perfect position to the opponents kick attack they will take less damage. The game's artificial intelligence is just amazing players will be able to attack as they want. There are more than 100 enormous characters, at starting of the match or tournament players can choose their desired character. The second astounding playable mode is "WWE Universe", in this astonishing mode players will continue the storyline and participate in the matches which will be booked automatically. Players can either continue playing the Pre-designed game or can even create and customize their own event and matches, players can customize Superstar or Diva tournaments accordingly, players will have to enter 8 teams and will have to select. one team from it to continue the game. The third breathtaking playable mode is Road to Wrestlemania, this is the best and the most interesting game mode in WWE 12, this marvelous game mode features pre-scripted storyline featuring actual WWE superstar voices and all their body language and icing on the game cake this game mode also features all the original combos and moves.
